Somewhat job security is there. Most of the projects are long term and stable. Salary at entry time is good. Encourages employees to take up paid certification which is reimbursed.

Dislikes

No promotion/hikes for last 3 years. Management doesn't care about good performers. HR is just a myth in this company. Client and company combined try to extract every ounce of work possible from a single person.

I have seen HCL firing people. You can't work for more than 6-7 years here, if you do your salary will become very less as there is 0%to 3%hike annually . If your package is 10LPA today . After 10 years it will be around 13L for excellent performance.

Hi All. If you thinking to join HCL for job security or you are in HCL and you are thinking of the same, you are totally wrong. Before joining HCL I have multiple offers and I just joined HCL for job security. I spent 1.5 years and One Day HR called me for the office, She did not tell me the reason for calling the office. I went there and she told me to put down my bags and mobile outside the meeting room. After that, she gave me a white paper and force me to write my resignation on the white paper. I asked for a reason but she failed to specify the reason so I write my resignation because she forcing me. <mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;"> My work performance is very good I got a rating of 9 ot of 10</mark>. My suggestion is those working currently with HCL please leave the company as soon as possible because after working year by year you are slowly going away from the market and technologies and I already told you for job the security. There are no advantages to join HCL: 1- If you are leaving the company then you will get basic pay of leave reimbursement and they will count till 12 leave only remaining leave else will collapse. 2- No job security, Many people got fired from HCL. 3- Health insurance available on CO-PAY 10% and 90%. 4- The way of taking of HR is very bad, No ethical things exist there. 5- There is nothing to learn and hands-on new technology. 6- No Onsite opportunity. 7- No Salary increament. Suppose you got the offer or going to get an offer in this case HR is trying to fool you, like HR told you to abscond from your current company, Please don't do that. or she promised you particular technology at the time of joining but it is not sure you will get the same technology....Read More

Please don’t join Hcl, because hcl terminated me without reasons, whats this is going in HCL. Hr called me in office and forced me to write my resignation in white paper, i asked reason but she only told me this cost cutting. If someone told you that job security in HCL , don’t believe that. **DO NOT JOIN HCL, Be careful
