Globant as an organisation is very good. Their policies and core values is very employee friendly.

Dislikes

As Globant is growing, they are bringing in large numbers of people who are not very aligned with Globant’s core values. Which is making Globant culture just like any other.

Everything is good learing, work life balance , no bossy culture, you can change project if you want, work from home etc.

Very big issue in Increment and Promotion. they hold Promotion for one one two two year even you have all approvals. and this cycle thy gave 3,4 percentag avg hike to all.

Hike and pramotion:- hike is getting delayed from last 2 years. Also no proper communication about hike and pramotion. Pramotion criteria is transferent and not properly defined.

No learning, doing same task. They will only listen to clients and work as a contractor/vendor. No new project, no appreciation, no appraisal, no salary revision. They are struggling with internal politics so employees has to survive and will lose enthusiasm of doing work.

Appraisal is a myth, cycle is jan to dec but Appraisal isn't given till November of next year that too if you are lucky Billing is key, projects will work you 12 hours a day and at time of appraisal manager will say you didn't contribute much to globant side internal activities even when he knows you were working 12 hours a day, itsjust a convenient excuse to give poor rating so be mindful of that....Read More

1. Short term projects 2. Lead and PM level politics. 3. While ramp down they don't tell the reason why specific person has been ramp down. 4. Bench policy i.e called DOJO here can be risky. 5. No time to time apprisals. They give apprisals in 2 installments 6. They hire anyone with any salary and internal employees who are billable throughout the year don't get what they deserve.
