At first the management will put you on a pedestal to get all the work done and then when the work is over, the management would pull the pedestal out. Wrong judgement is choosing project manager, sometimes the role is given to someone who has zero knowledge about practical field, has n ever implemented nor designed any structures nor hydraulics, rather has worked as a professor in a private university majority of the tenure, and in spite of repetitive mistakes and misbehaviors with sub-ordinates "that" someone still continues to be the apple of the eye of the management. ...Read More

There is nothing I really dislike about my current job. The respected team leader at my current company always helps me improve my skills and learn new things, and I am grateful for those opportunities. I am applying for this job because working remotely has become challenging for me.

Higher Management is cooperative and listen to the employees. Work life is balanced as we have to work five days in a week. Recently Salaries are also on time.

Dislikes

For promotion and appraisal the policies are not clear. Food coupon can be introduced.

The company gave good opportunities in the design and review of the structural works and also in the various aspects of the project which involved the preparation of Detailed Project Report, Estimation, Bid documents,Contract agreements and execution of the contract. I'm glad to work under most resourceful and experienced Team Leader . Dislikes

Sometimes the work pressure is very high and I have to work 12 to 14 hours straight in a day. The structural experts in my domain will not be in the project office which will be very difficult to get some guidance during the execution of the work. Late salary and travel allowance payment.

Work Details

I'm involved in the design/review of structural design and drawing of Water treatment plants and Sewage treatment plants. Also involved in preparation of Bid document, Bid evaluation and Contract agreement of various Water supply projects.
