I like how accommodating the organisation is regarding each and every member’s time. Everyone is always ready to help one another when in need, There is no judgement, from anyone whatsoever. I joined the organisation in September 2022 and since then I have gained so many new experiences and vast exposure to things. It's a place thattruly is diverse and inclusive and one feels so comfortable. Often at times, I feel that this is a dream I am unable to believe that I work in an organisation where there is no toxicity, office politics, or hostility in the work environment. I like the flexibility it has to offer. I have learned so much more than I could have imagined in last one year. I really appreciate the mentorship and skill development training from established writers. The freedom to express in your own voice and be accepted for one’s creative outlook has been a highlight. Also not to forget friends, fun, trips and chocolates

I loved the people I worked with, and the company culture was amazing. Although there were some changes in the team, it provided opportunities for continuous growth and learning, keeping the environment dynamic and exciting.

The encouragement provided to each member through presentations, guest speakers, and communication is so inspiring and every member, regardless of their age, including me, is treated as an important part of the team.

I have been here for over 6 months and my presence is as valued and as valid as when I just joined. I have an overtly active imagination and it has painted quite a lot of pictures regarding Girl Power Talk. One of it was it being a golden ticket I won at a competition. I think this resonates with me the most because, I did win at a competition. It was a competition with the other applicants and I got the golden ticket buzzer! I got in and I get to do what I love and get paid for it? An amazing deal. Girl Power Talk is my first well paying job, so it is also my golden ticket to being able to take care and provide for myself as a young adult and I have never been prouder of myself....Read More

Girl Power Talk values a work culture by providing members and young leaders to be involved with different endeavours and enriching activities. The members do not do just mundane stuff; rather, everyone is immersed with worthwhile tasks they are innvolved in from the begining and the knowledge that providesstarting from a young age. An investment for both ends, in simpler words.

Dislikes

There might be those who think hiring young people for actual work is not fair, however for those who join it is an opportunity like no other where they can learn while being compensated for their work.
