I have grown so much here as a person and adult, though i am still 22. What makes it so special at Girl Power Talk is that we are all working together. As a startup, there is so much opportunity and lots change. I never wanted to be in MNC where I wont matter as much. Here my opinions are heard...not always agreed with but I am listened to..haha. I talk to our clients in the USA and Canada, not alone yet but group calls. I involved in our reels and content to build our brand from office. I cant say enough about how precious the culture is here! I am so proud of our progress. Today, I am actually someone confident who is not the girl who applied 2+ years ago. We also have started a school at our office for the kids who live locally and dont have access to education. Its called Umeed (hope). Our culture not for everyone. Its sad when people are kind and good and nice, but dont take the work seriously. We have to let them go eventually somtimes. I didnt understand this at first when a friend was let go...now I understand how you have to have standards. I think some people this is their first job and they dont know how itis elsewhere. I like how accommodating the organisation is regarding each and every member’s time. Everyone is always ready to help one another when in need, There is no judgement, from anyone whatsoever. I joined the organisation in September 2022 and since then I have gained so many new experiences and vast exposure to things. It's a place thattruly is diverse and inclusive and one feels so comfortable. I like the flexibility it has to offer. I have learned so much more than I could have imagined in last one year. I really appreciate the mentorship and skill development training from established writers. The freedom to express in your own voice and be accepted for one’s creative outlook has been a highlight.
