Working at helpdesk, is pathetic one cannot get themselves to learn new skills or enhance themselves. People want you be here at helpdesk just taking call and chats they don't want you to explore, learn, meet with anyone. Gartner is quite a good company to work but not at helpdesk where they will treat you like a servant and it feels like you are at school, sit here don't go there, don't do this, don't do that....Read More

Overall Gartner was a employee centric firm. But some new leaders have introduced micromanage their team members. Gartner promote switching careers through IJPs. But have heard some leadership have restricted some candidates from their end. Organic promotion is difficult. You may have to look for IJPs for a role change.
