!) It's an unpaid internship. Generally, paid opportunities provide an employee with financial support that motivates them to work with full dedication. Financial security is one of the most important determiners of measuring a job success besides appraisals, career growth and learning. 2) Due to frequent changes in company's policy regarding hiring new interns on various positions caused a lot of issues. I had to convince the candidates to change / select new positions due to shortage of vacancies, even after confirming everything with them. 3) Delaying of hiring and allocating process of the candidates....Read More

Working at GAO Tek as an HR Intern was a wonderful experience. I learned a lot and had the opportunity to get promoted to Assistant Squad Leader and then Squad Leader of my team. I learned a lot relating to how to navigate the human resources field, networking, managing and leading a team under the guidance of my superiors and team members alike. This was definitely a great learning experience and I will take these lessons and skills with me as I pursue future endeavours.

Dislikes

At times, there were delays in responses due to time differences. It wasn't challenging per say but it was a little frustrating at times especially when tasks needed to be completed ASAP.
