Many promotions happen due to favoritism, due to which some of the managers and senior managers behave sexistly and make rude comments about women in the workplace. There were many escalations to HR about incidents in the team. The issue is that every time such incidents occur, it is not practical to report them to HR. This is due to undeserving people getting promoted too quickly before they are ready for that level of responsibility....Read More

Lots to do and lots to learn, if you are in the right team of course. You get a chance to work with multiple stakeholders. Workplace environment is beautiful. You'll feel like you made it in life.

Dislikes

Overall culture is not the same like early years. It resembles typical MNC culture with a start-up touch. It's a rat race to get career growth, and takes years sometimes if your boss/team changes. Overall culture has very less respect for timelines , which can be frustrating for internal and external stakeholders.

Work Details

It was a bittersweet journey. I got a chance to work with few highly talented people, learned a lot. Faced some unexpected roadblocks in career growth, but overall no regrets. It was worth it now that I look back. I'm happy I left.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within Country.

I got an offer from both the companies, manager role. Flipkart’s offer: fixed (x) + variable pay + stock Deloitte’s offer: fixed (x+1) + variable + 1.5L joining bonus Variable pay % is the same. Flipkart is offering a sizeable huge chunk in stock. What should I consider apart from compensation? WLB, work culture, etc? (Note that It’s a non IT role)
