If you are in the HR domain, don't ruin your career by joining this company. They will promise you the world and when you land, they will load you with everything else except what they promised. It's a suffocating place since ideas are neither accepted nor respected. The idea of Human Resource Management, especially the HRBP role itself, is weird in this place. Forget building a culture. The custodians of culture don't even talk about it as they are busy running with a 'task list'! Zero focus on strategies and alignment with business. They are running a race every day with a 'Task list' which has no place for why they are doing what they are doing. They deeply discouraged thinking, and love to work in an age-old fashion. There are no discussions, training, outbound is out of the question! All this is justified with analogies of a bullet train, highly matrixed organization, etc. Basically instead of simplifying, so-called multi-tasking, complicating, and running in 100 directions are celebrated. First Data is not best place to work. Fiserv acquired First Data and installed a software called Sapience to track the associate work daily which doesn’t work properly.
