Initially the centre was opened to do all the boring, repetitive stuffs of Exxon Houston, that thought and still many thinks that BTC is some back office of theirs, where you can stuff all the bad work. Few people are good in Houston but many thinks that BTC is incompetent and cannot do things, in some teams the Asset teams are not good. All in all, if you want a chill life with no challenges, join BTC, but if you want growth, good learning opportunity, do not join. There is nothing kept in the Brand name. Especially in India. Hey, AB fam, PIP = Corporate death sentence. I was there too🥲—panicking, checking Naukri every 5 minutes, watching Bhagavad Gita reels at 2 AM. Priya Ma’am, my boss, had lost faith in me. Friends said, "Bro, PIP se promotion tak koi nahi jaata." But I refused to go down. My Survival Jugaad? Chai Pe Charcha – Timed my tea breaks with hers. "Ma’am, elaichi daalni chahiye thi." Next day? She agreed. Trst unlocked. In meetings, I nodded like a bobblehead. "Ma’am, truly visionary! Aap to corporate Rani Lakshmi Bai ho!" Smiles = Achieved.. Emotional Connect – She loved dogs. I updated my DP with one. "Ma’am, my dog wakes me up for meetings!" Bond = Secured.😉 The Final Jugaad – She looked stressed. "Ma’am, even Dhoni takes a break!" She smiled. Game over.
