Just the brand! It does add value to your resume.

Dislikes

The name (EY) sure does add value to your resume. You’ll get a lot of interview calls but sadly those interviews will never convert into a job because the work that you do at EY is niche and a complete support function which is redundant and might get dissolve in the future. (EY Global only; EY India is a good company when it comes to the quality of work)

Work Details

Hectic, not exciting and only good for people who find satisfaction in a not-so-challenging role. (There are people who needs that kind of job in their life, and it’s great only for those people)

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

EY- Offer Negotiation

Hi all, I recently cleared two technical interviews with EY for a pentesting role and was asked to fill out the CIS form by HR. Later, I received a call where they offered me 10.5 LPA CTC + 5% variable for the position of Security Analyst L3. Here’s my background: YOE: 2.5 years in cybersecurity Certifications: OSCP, CRTO, CRTE, CEH, eCPPTv2 I mentioned that the offer seemed on the lower side, especially given my certifications and expertise, but the HR said they couldn’t increase it further and even mentioned they might drop my candidacy if I pushed for more. I’d like your advice: How much should I reasonably ask for given my profile? Should I negotiate further or accept the offer? Is this offer aligned with the market standards for a pentesting role?
