The manager was very supportive and the work life balance was good.

Dislikes

The unnecessary pressure to work from office and the unsupportive rude behaviour of the HR. There was nothing given above and beyond the salary not even box of sweets on small occasions. All the team outings and activities were self sponsored.

No one is supporting.even reporting person also not support. While joining said you need to work from home no need to come in office, after few days said u need to report daily basis in office. It's very pathetic service and lot's of work pressure here.

GDS- Full on toxic culture. On very first week your manager expects you to work on weekends without even having some empathy. No relevant data science projects. Colleagues won't even talk to you properly - hostile nature. Stay away if you can. Even if you lose 5 lacks, here that extra money is not worth it.

Gen AI and Data Science - No, even you are paid higher due to Gen AI role. Forget of relevant work. They will put on some random excel analysis, PPT work, automation with Ms Power Tool, model validation etc. Work life balance - Hehe, what is that? Most of the people here are from big 4 who takes pride in working 15 hours and weekends. They lack understanding of tech but are confident to say garbage. They don't provide any KT prior to any project. They don't provide any support from higher side. They assume that you already knows everything. They don't give you any project. You have to beg for it otherwise they will put you on a bench and then make you resign

The whole manager group works on the mentality of working 2r hours for the company. They do not want people to have their personal lives and will push people out of the organization who try to bring a positive change or voice their opinions about the horrible management.

The management is relaxed in terms of granting the leaves even if it is unplanned. No one disturbs during off time and after office hours. People are around to provide helping hand whenever stuck. Hikes and bonus is better than most companies around.

Dislikes

Lesser projects with better technologies and lesser growth opportunities in terms of tech stack. Many legacy applications are still operative which requires people to work on legacy technologies.

Big name that is easy to tell others without explaining much what it is.

Mediocre people in middle management making junior staff suffer at whims and fancies. They look the team members bad in front of top management so that they can shine and hide their mediocrity. It is a foreign MNC but, in reality boasting high standards of employee friendliness but, in reality, the policies that may help the employees are not effective on the ground but generate an effect entirely opposite to what thise polocies suggest. Like: policy says that employees are encouraged to work in different teams than their original core competency so that they can learn more and add value to their profiles as professionals but moving from one team to the other for the same reason is virtually impossible as the people incharge of that decision do not allow that, even if you are ready to quit the firm itself if not allowed to leave the current team....Read More

It's a well established organisation in the industry. But there is no factor for me to like working at EY

1. Highly unorganised projects, unrealistic deadlines, and all time building work pressures (asking for leaves or even leaving early for personal work seems to be a big ask) 2. The managers on most of the projects are not concerned about providing support to team members leading to direction less output 3. Most of the time is spent on firefighting to understand the scope of work/way to deal with a particular client/to seek on the job support- which is a bare minimum expectation from the managers to provide it to employees, but is never fulfilled! 4.
