Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

It's been 4 years, I have been working in Public Relations Industry. I didn't see the growth like this in my previous companies I was with in PR. It's happening I guess because of the freedom all employees have and quick decisions senior Management takes to train and support the team. In my team, I have seen they have also allowed Interns to go on Media Rounds or Client Servicing which is rare anywhere. No skill development and personal growth. They don’t have any work mechanism, only unrealistic expectations. There’s no learning as there are no seniors or team meetings. The work environment is not as elite as the name suggests.
