1. The environment of Engineering department is very intense, never recommend someone to go there. 2. In every department, politics is there, because of this some non-talented, non-deserving people also get some good positions. 3. Their management is also not good.

Not so much exiting, as they are working in modernization(i.e convert legacy languages application to the latest Object Oriented Languages like Java), to do this they have their flagship tools(XM3, X2E3), to serve their purpose.
