Well Damco solutions can have a very wonderful experience for a lot of employees, and I can see why. Since the experience in my opinion is based on the manager one works under. I have had positive experience with one of the 2 managers I worked under. And there are some positive aspects about Damco in general which can lead to a fulfilling experience. Well, you experience depends on who is the manager in your team. It can be amazing, it can be terrible. I worked in 2 teams under 2 different managers, and the experience was a polar opposite in both scenarios. The following points are purely based on the negative experience I had due to one of the managers, and there are one or 2 po ints that I have added that I personally believe are negative about Damco Solutions overall. - Sometimes have to do forced overtime, without compensation. - I joined in as a fresher, instead of getting a chance to work on technology, which I liked and wanted to truly base my career upon, I was forced to take up a technology that I hate to work on. This has had a drastic negative impact on my career goals, making it a lot harder to do what I want to achieve in future. - Now this point is a lot more manager specific, so experience might very based on who you work under. But the manager I worked under in one of the projects I was assigned to, was... let's just say... hard to work with. - Learning opportunities can be very slim, depending on you career goals. - We are forced to fill the timesheet based on project allocation, not based on actual hours we spent on the project. Bad Managers (chaploos managers), Unskilled managers, No value of employee life, no appraisal, Managers don't know, how to Talk. You will always insecure for your job in this company. They are not giving any notice if fire. Late payment of salary. Late appraisals. Late payment of FnF(ap prox one year - in multiple instalments, when you send multiple e-mails and phone call). No HR policies in benefit of employee, only policies to torture their employee. All employee are frustrated with their job in worst environment.
