I dont like anything, totally biased, only accounts & HR department is good.

Dislikes

Not supporting GM, when I was there, because of him I resign, he supports only Arabic speaking person. He use to frustrate everytime. He don't know anything about operation, how to run the hotel.

The Importance of multi tasking and gaining the experience in working in a UAE hotel .

Dislikes

The Lack of adequate staff , only one receptionist per shift , even on busy days of the week.

It was very very busy on most times there is only one receptionist on duty per shift your responsibilities are answering outside calls for information and queries, guest billings for check outs and check ins , and also handle reservations

I worked in Concorde hotel Singapore as a trainee for six months .The hotel is located on orchard road which is well known for shopping centres . The management gives you right opportunities to grow and learn .As part of the front desk I was assigned to multiple task from check in ,check out to preparing daily reports . overall it was a great experience and it gave me the right tools to advance my career....Read More

Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?
