The Australian management and the policies implemented across the Organization is pretty good. The implementation of the same policies in India is a nightmare.

Dislikes

Indian management which has been hired has been put in place without proper screening and selection. The management is so much incompetent that that the decision making and implementation of any program/policy is screwed. It's just buttering and micro management which takes you up the ladder. Actual talent perishes. Lots of good employees who were actually talented have started leaving because of the middle management majorly the Chapter Leads, Chapter Area Leads and few India Leads. Promotions here are based on your influence and approach and not on actual talent and work. Technical incompetence of Middle Management is leading to very bad work culture which is worsening the overall job satisfaction. I) Mostly Enhancement related works as major development already done by the vendors, so if you are looking for good development work then you will be disappointed. II) Less growth as less number of promotion. III) Managers are not good IV) Almost near to 0 possibility of changing projects V) Too much process involve for following SDLC processes from Code development to successful deployment in Production VI) Dependencies with multiple team with onshore and offshore VII) Lot of favouritism in Managers VIII) Lot of promises in Monthly Townhall discussion however in reality unable to achieve 50% of it. There are no late night calls. Work usually starts early and we can leave early. Good learning opportunities. Australian colleagues are friendly and helpful.

Dislikes

Mandatory work from office on a hybrid basis. Lot of time goes in commuting with heavy traffic in Bangalore. You may have to make up by stretching late night after returning from office.
