When tire 4 and 5 companies gives good hike, meanwhile this company is soo kanjoos to give hike. Also every year they use to change the months of the hike. One year it will be April another year it will be August without arrear. Please don't go to this company.

As working here is quite good when your manager is cooperative. Though In previous two years work and manager both was good no complaints for them and i worked from home till now and everyone was cool.

Dislikes

Now during current project my so called manager is psycho. Here in cognizant manager also do coding but he is like only I have to do everything and he just wants credit for it. Even to other squads he is like only he is doing work. He oftenly insulted me and two other team mates. I talked with my home manager but no benefit. Only you have to suffer in that scenario.

For a 2.5 lakh package, the health benefits are the same as those for a 10 lakh package. However, based on the cost of living, there are no benefits for associates on low packages (e.g., in BPO or non-growth departments) after more than five years. There is a lack of development opportunities, leading to career stagnation at Cognizant.

Work satisfaction will be negative, up to my view. No words for this company either is it process issue or company issue but at last emloyee is suffering.

I got my H1B visa approved then they put me on bench. They have given very less performance rating just because my H1B got approved. If You need promotion then you have to take release from current project.

Management and promotions are based on favaourism and very poor in salary hike and mainly without discussion with employees management gives us performance rating and apart from work there is no other activity today like no outings team lunch and other fun activities

I am not recommend for freshers to join in this organisation if u don't have any other option u choose this by u r own risk and u don't know what stack u get even though u get a good stack u r not sure u will work in the trained stack and after 18 months completion mostly they released the fresher from the project moved to bench once u complete 2 years if u don't have project they are asking for forced resignation...Read More

Work life balance. Hybrid work model Salary as there is very little variable component unlike other companies.

Dislikes

No promotions. I have seen people waiting 8 years to be promoted. No job security if you are on bench. No good projects in infrastructure domain for career growth. No skill development. No encouragement to develop cross domain skills. Last but not the least, too much of favouritism based on region and language you speak. Atleast it was in my case.

Salary credited on time. Two way cab. Large campus. Once in 6 months we use to go to trip to nearby places.

No work life balance. Constant pressure to meet targets. Worked overtime without any additional payment. Leads will put you on PIP if you don't meet the targets.

After giving training in academy, there are lot of irregularities in project allocation. Joiners have to wait for 1-6 weeks for projects and also some problems after that. They also don't allow them to report from home during this waiting period (where they are just sitting idle for days).
