It's MNC so work load is not much and you get nice architecture office and locality

They lay off when they don't have projects. They are over hired and less projects left with them.. you won't feel the pain but they will somehow kick you out if they don't need you... they might give you salary for 2 or 3 months to keep the mouth shut but they will lay off you silently

Cognizant has hybrid work model, which is good for employees.

Dislikes

Cognizant bench policy is bad, they give less days to get yourself into a project. Also salary hike is low.

They are changing Promotion Criteria when promotion Cycle comes near so less people are getting promoted due to that criteria.

No job security. You will be ask to leave or resign by taking lump sump amount. No retention policy. Fake job postings on TMP. Biasing on the basis of gender. No meaning of Full time employee. No projects for PA or fresher. They will keep u for 18 months project then on bench, after that back to home.

So far, i do not see any good experiences in terms of ratings, feedback, employee friendly, personal/family related concerns. Just getting pathetic treatment from all sides due to north indian culture and having personal concerns of location preference as bangalore. Always critised for the opportunity they provided like they have given what is not expected as employer. Not feeling good due to consistently forced to change project and degrade ratings. Always denied for preferred location project even after 6 years of work experiences within cognizant. Did not get full exposure and work experience of the study in the project since I am not working as per their location preferrence. HCM managers are only utilising me for their work completion but never support about the personal concern. Mostly tamil managers are sucking the career of North Indian resource and never support since I have location constraints and requested to work from bangalore location. Tamil managers always wanted me to not to work from bangalore location unnecessarily which is very unfair. Not getting proper response and very badly treated by hcm managers or lead within project. This company just looking outside fine but inside it there is hell amount of unfair practices within projects in life science domain.
