One thing I am comfortable working with Cognizant is I could balance my work-life very well.

Dislikes

System is not proper here. They are expecting more work and billable process but we are not recognized doing so.

Work Details

Well, I will be assigned with daily task which has estimated time of work. Based on the estimation we need to provide expected delivery date to the customer. So, we need to log those work time in the weekly timesheet. Weekly we nee to work for

I have been working at the client site from Cognizant since Day 2 of my joining. Its been 1 yr 10 months now. In Covid situation we have been pressurised by client to work from office which is a crowded place in a normal situation, scary specially in this situation where social distancing is need of the time. Few of my colleagues started going to office since May only I am trying to delay it as much as possible due to this reason. We have time and again raised our concerns to cognizant seniors but all we et in reply is it is demanded by client that their vendors should work from office. But they are least bothered about the facilitated provided at the place. Those who have started going to office do not even have sufficient number of fans since ACs are kept switched off....Read More

Poor work life balance, specially in this condition. Our team has been working on an average 10/11 hrs a day where is as per contract working hours are 8+1 hours. Poor infrastructure facilities provided by client which in spite of bringing it Cognizant Management notice no effective actions are taken Do not feel the belongingness to Cognizant. We feel more like working for client company than our parent company. Cognizant hardly has any say in any matter even in the leaves granted to resources....Read More
