Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

Work Details

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

In this company not implementing social distancing,not arranging hand sensitising to all employees.It is expected that very bad days ahead.The company is not seriously addressing practical solutions.Every Thing is happening very ornamental.Therefore I have decided to be in the home using my accumulated leave In blance.

To work under incompetent superiors who are misleading the management by acting .The house wife of area general managers misbehaving /harshment /ill treatment of innocent wife’s of junior officers

The superior never involves in taking decision though it may be out of his delineation.Not supporting ,Always interfering.Ill treating .Never appreciate the good job done.Always to save their sensitive jobs. Infact,coal India is a very good company .

very poor working culture, labour intensive organisation dominated by workers union in all decision making, terrible infrastructure facility like quarters, guest house office etc. coal fields are in extrem remote location, No social life at many projects. friction between officers due to huge generation gap among officers="background-color: #fff5e4;">. many top level ececutives at projects and head of projects have no idea of personnel, HR management, leading to high attrition rate by young officers</mark>.
