1. Salary, no such work specially for system engineers and you will get starting inhand salary of around 60k-70k (post implementation of 7th pay) +other incentives. If you want to open your own business or want to read for higher studies, you will get enough salary.

1. The work culture is worst. Being a system engineer you have to just check that printer, pc's are working properly or not. 2. No self respect. 3. Rather then learning new things, tgey will make you learn how to bypass your work and let others do your work. 4. Locations are also bad untill and unless you are not posted in head quarter. 5. If you really want to work, within one month you will be frustrated. 6. If you don't want to work at all, then Coal India Limited is the best company in the world. 7. Never join coal India limited... It's just a bogus company where u deal with illiterate mob who abuse you all the time for no reason. Most importantly all the work is sluggish and you will feel so horrible. The company is good for aimless people. I agree psu is secured but not at the cost of self respect.
