Insanely bad culture, very orthodox. I was forced to shave beard to be “corporate ready”. Plus one can get called at any time of the day.

You get to learn a lot and you will be given the Independence to work on your own. It's growing everyday, so you will always be required to be ready to complete your tasks within strict deadlines. It's challenging and hence encouraging.

Dislikes

Nepotistic behaviour prevails and there will be times when information would be suppressed. There's insecurity amongst the seniors. Managers lack professionalism and they are more focussed in deriving benefits from the work done by the subordinates. Boss/Head of the Department is a cunning man......lacks professionalism.

I dislike politics, fear of seniors. People just like make you terfied about extension of training period. You will not get confirmation if you get noticed by senior's. They just send references and treat us like a free workers to do their referencies works, if i get late in doing their work they take it personally and give suggestions and scoldings like you are their servents....Read More

Working in operation and maintenance it is not a that much hard. But it is job of pressure some time, we have a responsibility to others safety. After all we controlling power.

Good learning curve. Youngsters are given chance to work on several projects related to system upgradation apart from routine work.

Too much influence of union in decision making, making the process implementations slow. Poor work distribution among employees, making few overburdened.

It is regional company, employees from different state than West Bengal will not like this company. There is no learning in the company. Growth is stagnant and Performance appraisal is based on face value.

There is a lot of politics and management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but carreer growth is very slow.

You can learn here. There is so much to learn from all the colleagues here who are undoubtedly very helpful. I am in Administration and I can very well say that the infrastructure of this company is excellent.

Dislikes

There is no place for young generation here. You will have to be experienced. And all the employees here are experienced and aged. And my worst dislike is that you will have to stay till 7:30 even if you have no work. That is disgusting.
