The biggest challenge with the Carrier COE team is ineffective management. There’s a clear lack of vision Experience with the leadership in the Carrier COE team has been far from ideal. One of the most frustrating aspects is the culture of micromanagement combined with a lack of clear strategic direction. Leaders are often overly involved in minor details while failing to address the bigger picture—this creates confusion, slows down execution, and leaves little room for autonomy or innovation. Rather than empowering team members to take ownership, leadership tends to second-guess decisions and get involved at inappropriate levels, often after delays have already occurred. This reactive and controlling approach hampers productivity and erodes confidence within the team. Moreover, the micromanagement doesn’t translate into accountability. When things go wrong, it’s rarely addressed constructively. There's a clear absence of trust and little effort made to mentor or grow team members into leadership roles themselves. For a COE that's supposed to drive excellence, the current management style does the opposite—hindering progress and creating unnecessary stress. A shift toward trust-based leadership, delegation, and a clearer strategic roadmap is much needed....Read More

Only the pay is good where you get additional 15k on top of your salary. Maybe that would be removed in future.

Dislikes

Very dirty politics, the business are illiterate and never listen to you. The US business heads control the Hyderabad office and they think like you are 3rd grade cheap labour whom they ask to dance how they like just to satisfy their ego and to hide their mistakes. There are much better companies out there so consider other options before accepting their offer.
