The work culture is good but managers do not try to maintain healthy environment. Too much internal politics. Manager’s favourite people get highlighted and eventually get promoted. Very less yearly increment. Frequent layoffs.

no consideration of long term employees. work overload, unnecessary expenses for managers and infrastructure but no seat for employees to sit. domination, partiality, unnecessary meetings panicking employees, no proper requirement sharing, not giving time for analysis,always giving tests for employees, too many prod issues, over time weekend supports with no it. no hike, always low rating, micro management etc...Read More

Actually nothing is her to be liked they are spending lot of money of campus etc but not paying to the employee. They did lot of lay off but still not ready to pay to the employee

Managers lobby. Mangers only praise their fav employees no matter what they are doing or not. Top management created their lobby for survivals. Forget about promotion and good hike unless you are not their fav one.

Full support from manager, onshore stake holder, no micro management, manager and stake holder have trust that job will done once assigned, timely recognition, year end bonus is awesome and year end hikes are good, you will get a chance to work on different asset classes from time to time and you can built good rapport with different stake holders across different regions.

Still working on lagecy platforms & technology, lot of push back for new work or improvement

Job security really sucks. At the year end based on the internal team ranking system you will be given either hike letter or termination letter. poor management people.

Provides good bonus, and enough leaves a year.

Management isnt good, appraisal is terrible, promotions are very less compared to number of new openings, managers doesnt let you apply for IJPs, have to provide explanation on each of your leaves with proofs.

BNY will hire with good package and immediately within 4 months they do plans to terminate employees move to pip again to warning plan then terminate with in a year, even your performance is good and met all organisation's requirements. Some attitude showing manager will decide your future

Handling employee stress, background verification, new employees knowledge. I believe everyone can learn the process but they should have basic knowledge of they are going to do....when we were recruited there was som many procedures and questions all of it was relevant to the job. But now people are from different backgrounds recruited where they don't have knowledge about the basic details

Worst management. Managers dont have any Process knowledge. Since they are working more than 2 years And they are managing the processes. Just politics happens here. Bny is not that company when our dream was to join BNY. It's really good company. But the management is ridiculous nowadays.

People working here for 14-15 years have formed groups. When an outside enters in the company it becomes an issue for them. I have seen many examples where they create issues for outsiders which in turn makes the job security worst.

There is no senior manager in a specific area, and all teams are overseen by directors or VPs from another region. They primarily promote resources from one particual region while showing little consideration for managers from other regions.

Bny put employee first but not the work. Company care about there employee and provide no.of facilities too. But it totally depends on how your manager is in consideration of leaves and promotions.

Promotions and job security is not there, as bny is top banking sector and rapidly grasping the AI which is causing the fear of job security.

For skill development lot of courses are there but one would nt get the time

Company is only focussing on cost reductions and started to layoff people....for decades they have had a lay back attitude and now want to go all in with technology and now want to automate everything. Company maintains lot of unnecessary data and has the same data at several places. Senior management is openly threatening managers and have created an environment of fear.
