Work life balance is based on your project but most of the projects are good and provide work life balance...you can negotiate your work timings even in high pressure situations. Free transport from various locations and a cab after 9.15 PM logoff is something really worth mentioning.

Dislikes

Stereotype culture, no clear vision for Functional experts in IT team, most of the team managers act on the behest of department head. Appraisals are fixed yes literally fixed based on visibility and BA always struggles for visibility in technical tasks. Depending on your project Dev team is always engaged in daily support and infact your appraisal highly depends on how well you support rather than the quality of IT delivery. There are multiple office locations but you have to go to an office as per your department head's wish not on your ease of travel....Read More

Which company is good for long term growth & Work life balance ?

I'm Java FSD with 10+ yrs experience. Currently holding offer with Capgemini 33 LPA (30 Fixed + 3 Variable). Recently got another offer from BNP Paribas 31 LPA Fixed only. Recruiter is not matching the Capgemini offer which is 33 LPA saying variable will not be considered for matching even after lot of negotiation. Not sure about yearly hikes & bonuses at BNP. Which one to choose ?
