The organisation offers great work life balance. However it can also depends on your team. Even though the company offers 2 days WFO and asks for only 6 hours to be in office and rest we can work from home but there are few managers within IS Assurance team who forces you to come and stay late in the office untill night, otherwise you will not get promoted.Knowledge lacks within them and the quality of work in BDO is poor and is detoriating day by day. Manager saves team budget and spend among themselves. They favours who blindly follow them and discourages who asks questions and prove the wrong. There are some gems within team and a lot of fools. So choose wisely. If you want to grow your skill set and learn, don’t join BDO but if you want to enjoy and have work life balance and want to be part of some crispy office politics, IS Assurance team within BDO is a gem for you....Read More

There is no particular work culture for this company. It is totally based on whichever manager you are working with you need to follow according to his mentality. Over 30 days i worked on weekends during my overall tenure of 2 yrs but not even single compoff had been given even though officially there is compoff policy. My manager wants his team to work all 365days of the year but they should never ask for compoff or any benefit. Also there is lot of corporate politics within the team especially with the mallu guys....Read More

Increment range here 10 to 30 % Salary is good Performance bonus is also good varies between 10 to 30% depending upon ratings No working on Sat & Sunday.

Here working is according to hours. Managers will always keep poking that your billable hours should be 130/140/150/160. Micro managment is there. Work and closing pressure is here in BDO Rise Lot of politics If you are not manage’s favourite and working is not much good they will keep you on pipl and will fire you.

US leadership team is an advantage to work with as they practical and approachable.

Dislikes

RISE leadership team has lot of issues: Heights of discrimination between North and rest of Indians, all considerations goes to North Indians. Few are created syndicate and hired only their contacts at all levels.which leads to selective feedbacks and actions are taking. Higher leadership blindly falls on their practice heads which leads no ears to hear the middle and lower level team feedback.
