Ignorant managers. Top management is really toxic. Extreme politics. Working hours in this job are not structured well - it goes on till 10-11pm. Poor salaries.

Working with BCG is an exceptional experience; we get to meet and collaborate with colleagues from various spectrums, overall creating a very healthy and positive working environment. You are given loads of opportunities to hone your skillsets and work on needs improvement pointers.

Dislikes

Not so competitive salary structure. Appraisals are generic to entire team and not to your individual performance. Equal opportunities for growth is limited to only experienced members of the team.

Very high politics, Senior director like Samarth Sharma, Manager like Aman Kapoor, so called performance Manager like Etika can make anyone life difficult to work at BCG. With Leadership outside India , no body keeps a watch on these people actions , behaviours and politics they do to ruin career of others. They hire people only tomeet their goals and then when the work gets complete they look for reasons to fire. With no one to hear (HR is fake completely) the plea of sufferers their career gets wasted. So, you have to handle 8 people' s work. (Calendar, travel, expense). These are your Stake holders, they will never be satisfied and at the time of feedback they will recall one mistake and write that on your feedback. Since, it's a remote work no one will bother to appreciate you. 2. U can't just apply for leave you have to arrange backup. Take leave approval from manager, approach colleagues request them. 3. No one knows people who are getting promotion why they are getting it. So equality doesn't work here. Too much politics and manager Smita Bali treaded me inhuman way she insulted me on and off did not give me time to learn work at I was asked to resign in 7 months when I raised my concerns to senior.
