Worked in BCG gamma, at time you work with core BCG consulting team, who are very knowledgeable and that is the best part, you learn a lot. A lot of resources for a keen mind, access to SOTS cases and tools, this will prepare you for your next best job or high level mba, good place to work for career development, but play it strategically to your advantage, for long term it is one of the worst place to be except for senior directors old useless uncles from ex McKinsey solutions, Tcs, accenture, Citi etc, some these are only bcom graduates!...Read More

bcg gamma is a place of politics, it is inherent in the system and the main reason is in the way it was formed, some senior folks were gathered from here and there, then they created teams of mid senior people out of their relatives and friends, and so on. Most eligible people have already left, you fill find hardly anyone 4-5 yearsold in the system apart from old uncles. increments and bonuses are non existent, people culture is very bad, they will treat you very harshly if you are sick and took some leaves....Read More

Is transitioning from a Full Stack to Cloud Architect or DevOps role good idea?

I have completed 9.3 yrs of exp now. All these years I have worked on developing full stack web apps and websites. Worked little on cloud in deployment. I don’t have that patience or interest anymore of learning, practising DSA for interviews for software engineering or full stack roles. I am tired of it. Can’t take the stress any more of performing in pair-coding test platforms. My intuition now says I should try shifting completely towards DevOps or Cloud Architect roles. Am I thinking right?
