Likes

Good work environment and culture teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent carreer growth is slow.

Work Details

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

ISRO vs Analog Design Engineer

Hello All. I am asking this question. I am a final year M.Tech student at IIT-B specializing in Integrated Circuits and Systems. I have two offers as mentioned below - 1) ISRO Scientist/ Engineer 'SC' (Location - Ahmedabad) 2) Offer from Cadence as Analog Design Engineer (Location - Pune) I am unable to make a decision. While the central government scientist post does seem lucrative I am also attracted to the fact that I am a Mumbaikar and would actually love to stay in Mumbai whilst still getting a better pay sitting very close to Mumbai. Can anyone from ISRO/SAC - Ahmedabad shed some light as to what kind of work is done in Electronics ? How is the Work Life Balance in ISRO/SAC - Ahmedabad ? Is it true that we need to work overtime and also work on weekends ? Because if that is the case I would very well do it in a private organization thereby earning more money. I however would like to spend quality time with family and avoid WFH kind of arrangements. Not very sure.
