ISRO vs Analog Design Engineer
Hello All.
I am asking this question. I am a final year M.Tech student at IIT-B specializing in Integrated Circuits and Systems. I have two offers as mentioned below -
1) ISRO Scientist/ Engineer 'SC' (Location - Ahmedabad)
2) Offer from Cadence as Analog Design Engineer (Location - Pune)
I am unable to make a decision. While the central government scientist post does seem lucrative I am also attracted to the fact that I am a Mumbaikar and would actually love to stay in Mumbai whilst still getting a better pay sitting very close to Mumbai.
Can anyone from ISRO/SAC - Ahmedabad shed some light as to what kind of work is done in Electronics ?
How is the Work Life Balance in ISRO/SAC - Ahmedabad ? Is it true that we need to work overtime and also work on weekends ?
Because if that is the case I would very well do it in a private organization thereby earning more money.
I however would like to spend quality time with family and avoid WFH kind of arrangements.
Not very sure.
