I do not find it worth compared to my last companies. I am feeling as if I had taken a wrong decision, by being a part of Bandhan bank. People in the city are not even aware that there is any bank name Bandhan bank, wherein it has a 6 years' vintage. Office environment is not friendly. Seniors are always at a shouting mode, I don't know why. They show that if they will shout, they can show their presence. Induction Training was given online through teams meeting, it was like give someone a chocolate, ask that peron to taste it by not unwrapping it...

These are the key points that people should keep in mind if he or she wants to join Bandhan Bank 1. Work culture- It doesn’t look like a bank, it looks like a fish market more. There is no proper decorum or dress code at all. 2. Process flow- You can not expect to your work gets done within a short period of time, everything goes too slow, takes too long to get completed. If you’re from a standard work cultured bank you will feel that difference. 3. Basic Hygiene- Very dirty, and no intentions to make it clean. 4. Employees- Very much unqualified people , just for the sake of sales or targets managements are giving them jobs. Yes we should not discriminate anyone, but working professionals of a bank should be qualified enough to carry the dignity of the same. 5. Salary- The amount of baggage you will be carrying is nothing compared to your salary. 6. Products- You can not compete with Bandhan’s product with other banks except FDs 7. Attendance- Sign in & Sign out is compulsory, even if you’re at a customer call at 7 PM , you have to come back to office to sign out from the system. This may vary from branch to branch. I am writing this note to express my deep disappointment with my experience working at Bandhan Bank. As a former employee, I feel compelled to share my concerns in the hope that they will be addressed for the benefit of my colleagues who are still with the company. Firstly, the working culture is extremely demanding and unrealistic.The workday begins at 7:30 AM, and there is no defined end time. On some occasions, I found myself working until 11 PM, which is simply unsustainable. This brings me to my second concern: the management style. The managers often behave more like wardens in a hostel rather than leaders in a professional environment. There is little to no time for personal breaks, and leaving the office for any reason seems to be frowned upon. Additionally, the workload is overwhelming, especially when compared to the compensation. The amount of work expected from each employee far exceeds what is reasonable given the salary offered. Furthermore, the scheduling of unnecessary meetings at inappropriate times adds to the frustration. Meetings scheduled at 9 PM are not only inconvenient but also disrespectful to employees' personal time. When are we supposed to eat, rest, or even have a moment to ourselves? It is disheartening to note that higher management is aware of these issues but has yet to take them seriously. This disregard for employee well-being has led many of my colleagues to resign, and I ultimately made the same decision. I have never experienced such a difficult time in my professional life. While I understand the importance of hard work, this level of expectation is beyond reasonable. Bank should work on improving process and enhancing customer satisfaction rather than being solely business oriented. Excess pressure to meet targets affects work life balance, specifically in service sector. Simplifying the workflow and fostering employee friendly culture will empower staff to deliver quality service while monitoring well being.

Lots of manual intervention, excessive documentation, weak and under-developed IT infrastructure, non-aggressive collection/recovery dept., mailing culture is not clear to most of the employees.

In banking sector, obviously, for a DBA there is lot to learn and implement. At Bandhan they give you the chance not only on Oracle but also other database like MySQL, MSSQL etc.
