Likes

It is a very slow growth rate job and no facility for faculties. They are not supporting any guest faculties during these days. No class no salary. Not even through online platforms.

Dislikes

No support for visiting faculties, no salary hike, not even on time. No personal projects. Consistent pressure of work for what we are not even paid for. If we deny then we might get sued. Too much politics.

I am working as visiting faculty/ resource person of Microbiology and Biotechnology since last 10 years.

Work timings: Strict Timings

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?
