Do not ever join this company if you want job security. Look for security, they will be very nice at starting but then without any explanation you will be asked to leave. Hiring firing company. In Sep 2024 they dissolved the entire team asking 2 month old & 2 weeks old & even 2 days old joinees to leave.. Witnessed a scenario where people who joined few months ago, few weeks ago and few days ago were asked to leave with NO compensation. A lady who worked for 10 years as almost a founder member of Avalara India was asked to leave and ID got deactivated over phone in few seconds only.. Avalara "Orange team" Orange theme all is purely a branding trick.. Free food and free snacks are cover to hide such practices.....Read More

Hiring and Firing Company. Lot of new and old hires. People who joined few months, few weeks and few days ago were asked to leave abruptly.. Even a lady who was working for 10 years was asked to leave over phone and her ID got disconnected in few seconds over call only..

They first tell you that you will get joining bonus and you will get nothing then they will tell you about hybrid pattern then your manger will ask you to come to office compulsory 5 days and no one will take a stand against it

Work life balance is good. Higher management is also good. Other benefits are good.

Manager politics within team. Biasness is most in the team. The new manager(Himanshu Gupta) is biased with boys. Favouritism is more and support his native people from UP. He is the worst manager I worked with. Always targets boys for the additional work. He always scolds to boys and talk to girls very sweetly.

Avalara was an awesome company when I had started to work. Eventually it has just became like other MNC’s were they are least interested in employees and they can go to any steps to earn profits.

Silent layoffs of skilled employees have left the negative footprint on many employees working/were working with Avalara. Serving a company for more than 4-5years with full dedication and then surprisingly laying off people with no proper justification is bad

They will give yoy least salary inhand ...but to match with market they set incentive program which is easy to achieve ..but somehow you stuck in their loop and you can't go anywhere because after working their with 3 year your inhand will remain same but your expenses will be much hiy because of incentive you're getting along with salary..but when it comes to change or switch your job ..you will be offered good salary because of your actually in hand ...and in end you will remain stuck in se company .....Read More
