I've been with the company for more than 5 years and this place has been a home for me always! The people I've worked with were great and I got to learn a lot. There is job security and additional benefits as well

The internal movement is slow. It takes months and months just to know if your resume is even considered for the role or not.

The work culture of this company is good. There are facilities for employees. Number of leaves provided are good in comparison to other companies.

Dislikes

Taking leaves totally depends on the process you work. My 13 leaves were lapsed as the manager didn't approve leaves citing shrinkage. But they will not hire to meet the resource requirement. There is immense work load in Amazon. They will make you worknfor 8hrs to be exact. Micromanagement is present everywhere.

I have joined Amazon 18 December 2023 I have my 100 percent with full dedication but the management terminate me inappropriately I am handicap person and have a family to take care of but the work culture and management is very poor

Some of the trainer are not cooperative. Especially Surya Parkash (surygai) one of the Worst Trainer. Always finds his benefit.

You all know that amazon is a big mnc thats all the operations work i had worked in two departments, its like hell you dont get rest its like u have 2 work for entire 8hrs in screen, 2nd regarding promotion they dont give promotion i even saw people working for more than 3 to 4yrs in same level, they wont give promotion and the promotion is entirely depends on managers,3rd i had one problem happened while working with amazon ,one of the manager he is not my teams manager he usually come and check our laptops, he is a tamilan[i dont want to name him] in LMAQ dept, and one day in the meeting room i asked a question against him l, he called me stupid and told to get out of the meeting room, i entered the meeting room back he even touch my body, these kinds of people are there in Amazon. Hr will support them only if you escalate this, its my story. So before going 2 amazon check about the level, and dept, some depts are good. I have to face this tats y i told. The company is going downhill fast. Every single role is becoming contractual ever since that idiot Andy Jassy became the CEO. The management is making poor decision after the other. Job security is a joke and the salary is utter rubbish and garbage. The Interim managers and the tenured folks are tenured by name as they have zero idea regarding process knowledge. work-life balance is amazing at Amazon and they pay on time. There is no office politices.

Dislikes

Job security is Zero at Amazon. no matter How much labor you have put into your work they never give preference to the employee from the west Bengal region. I was the top performer at my team but they still kick us out.
