1. I joined Allstate with huge hopes in a senior role with 10+ years experience and the Ireland based ABI management lay off my entire team within a year. At this stage of our careers we were not offered any support from the HR team as there is no bench policy here. We were only offered 15 days of severance pay and were made to signa MoU that we will not post anything on social media about this incident. I know once incident cannot determine the overall company brand value but please note this has happened inside this company and not an isolated incident that the company shouldn't held responsible for. We all struggled for 4 months to make ourselves positioned to an suitable job in an already low demand job market. We cannot explain our struggle in words, Monthly EMIs, job ghosting by other companies, other company HR taking advantage of our situations. My only request to this company is go for contract hiring only don't play with senior candidates careers. I felt like writing to Labor commission about this incident with a copy of MoU which was illegal but due to poor governance in India I thought of redirecting this energy towards something meaningful. 2. There are no onsite opportunity which is why company attracts you with little extra pay with no job security. You would be fired any day. 3. Heavy politics. I have seen position were forcefully created overnight to save a senior management employee from getting fired while the new joiners were terminated with just 15 days of severance pay....Read More

People are not good Team mates associates try and believe they are the boss and play around politics Beware of the person sitting next to you They behave like besties but will backstab your emotions and relation the moment they want any leverage over you Heard one scenario from operations as we share the cab; where an associate wasnot even coming to office stating her family demands and she took it upto HR and leaders Hardly seen in office, always reluctant to work for bussiness or return to office; work on specific segment of work; always criticizing her TL And now recently 3-4 months back she was moved to another TL (male) and she is daily approximately coming to office/ said he gives cases on individual chat (spoke in native language); associate even said that she will show who runs the bussiness its me and not TL/ manager/ senior manager. She also said what leaders see is data and it can easily be manipulated extra application access by her husband who used to work here only in ITES ( not sure if he still works here) This scenarion can be your red flag to watchout to whom you talk and what you talk So associates are a big problem here Leaders working for making bussiness go profitable and thats what they are being hired and associates think they are boss...Read More
