Being a public sector undertaking, job security is totally assured. The compensation and benefits are one of the best in the industry and nothing is lacking. The work culture needs to be immensely improved and needs better leadership at all levels. There needs to be more focus on HR development as all development programs are targeted only at a higher level and not at the lower-level employees.

There was a lack of staff development. Too much of bureaucracy and red-tapism

I was working in the cargo department of Airports Authority and it was an interesting job as we had to deal with the public and service levels had to be maintained.

Although it's a central government ( U.T) Still the management is always active to update and refresh its core policies and Recruitment in all wings, training procedure, modernization of tender process, introduction SOPs in the operational system, following guidelines internally( AAI), national (DGCA/ BCAS) and international level ( ICAO)

Dislikes

More proper training procedures are required for it's civil and electrical wings like ATM and CNS wings to cope up with the growing demand to maintain international standard.
