Horrible company with zero work life balance, no job security. They can fire you anytime without any reason, no matter if you are having outstanding ratings. Highly ungreatful company, people are working day and night, spending weekends in office to meet the project deadlines but they consider nothing while kicking out people exceptfavouritism. Senior management is too weird and it's actually not management, just a dictatorship. If anyone wants to even speak up, another day they just need a reason to fire them. We are not employee for them, only a resource which gives output irrespective of struggle with family, health or whatever personal reason it can be.You keep on working for 16 hours or even 24/36 hours continuously but on the name of timesheet, they are struggling to give 8 hours booking. You will get 4 hours booking and rest 16 hours of work will be considered ineffective. And in Pandemic times, they made people to book their leaves. After exhausting all leaves, they laid off employees saying no work in company and asked them to give voluntary resignation. Another day they are taking team meetings and announcing that enough work is there. Also heard that they are now hiring staff on 3/6 months contract via third party after laying off permanent employees. AECOM GDC is the shame on the name of MNCs. If no option left for you people for the job, still don't go there to ruin your career, morale, self confidence and putting black mark on your resume. South Indians are highly favoured. Because of few people at higher position, company become too much regionalistic in approach but the worst part is strategic planning team sitting onsite is not observing these descrepencies....Read More

In Covid, India Aecom GDC office send all employee to leave without pay since 22 march 2020.No pay to employees

You get to work on a lot of projects which develops your skill set.

There is no work life balance. You might be working like 70 hours a week without any overtime compensation. Girls also stay late sometimes till midgnight and project lead does not bother asking how will they go home, they have to take Uber at midnight and get a call from security to ask whether they have reached home or not (which doesn't make the travel safe). Projects have less than half of the manhours actually required to complete the task which leaves no choice but to work day and night. On the top of it, you don't get much support from your team leaders, neither technical nor managerial. Appraisals are political rather than talent/performance based. You might get a project which would involve repetitive work or you might get a challenging project which will enhance your skill set. I have faced both the situations & it turned out to be fine.
