Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

-Higher management is toxic . They are good at pointing mistakes. -HR is good for nothing - Micromanagement and no respect to your experience even if you are hired for senior position. -This is purely advertising agency having no experience in any technology. Running thier system in legacy tech stack , so no new learning. -They will fire you immediately without giving it a single thought. So hire and fire in its peak. -They create a situation where either you get frustrated with thier daily tantrum and forced to leave or they pressurised and made it difficult to stay in company. - They call themselves as MNC but in reality it’s Lala company....Read More
