The management and founder have a clear vision for where the company needs to be, they are hands-on, execution-focused, able to connect with, and acknowledge the contributions of each member of the team across levels. It's a lean team, that is willing to share and support even across functions. It rewards ownership of your work and there is transparency in communication. Dislikes

It is not for someone who cannot handle change that is typical for a startup. Things evolve quickly and the pace is fast, which is essential for an early stage company. The learning curve is high but so is the career growth.

great work culture and supportive co-workers. There are opportunities for professional development and growth. Communication is clear and open feedback culture is practiced. Compensation and benefits are competitive with other start-ups.

Dislikes

work from office on all five days. But of course, there is flexibility, if we request for a wfh, managers are accommodative.

Its fast paced, and I get to learn alot. If I am wrong, I get a chance to try again but I am also held accountable for the work I do.

Dislikes

Its not dislike, but I am still learning to keep up with all the changes and flying in the grey. It is a startup so I understand but it does get uncomfortable sometimes.

At the start, the organisation had a few good people in the management who had e-commerce experience and made working a learning experience

- Management does not give a damn about people under them. They kept promoting themselves and getting hikes while everyone else was just given gyaan about the organization being in a tough phase - Every week the CEO keeps changing the strategy with what they want to do with the brands they acquired. All their brands are struggling and business are way below the levels they were acquired at and also in losses. - Recently they made someone lead the ecommerce business who had zero e-commerce experience and he started firing whoever was not becoming a yes man. Created a toxic work culture by mentally harassing employees daily. And he has successfully degrown all businesses from Start - Zero attention paid to any ideas given by anyone other than the yes men of the CEO - For months, they kept inflating the GMV numbers they shared with the investors while the CEO goes and gives gyaan on LinkedIn about how to run businesses while she has no problem with fudging numbers. - They want everything to be done by interns and not hire people with domain expertise as they will not become yes men of the CEO - The company has always been in a transition over the last 2 years and this becomes a permanent excuse for not giving appraisals - Tried launching private label with her team of yes men which failed badly. Since it was he group of yes men nothing was said and they were moved to the next project which obviously failed too Anyway, stay away from this company if you care about your mental health....Read More

People, team used to be good and open minded.

It's all about My way or high way.. ( get fired) if you challenge or give suggestions founder opinion, pack your bags. Job security is zero. Almost 90% of team has been let go, half of management team left, as they did not listen ill logical dictator. They promice but dont give shares, treatment to leaving employees is very bad as if they are theifs and worthless people leaving on earth. All there business are going down. So today or tomorrow, in funding winter it's going to go down. Join only if you have nothing for 4-5 months....Read More

Fast-paced, transparent working environment. Loads of learning opportunities. Leaders looked for people with intent, not necessarily past experience. Junior folks moved within functions if they showed interest and acumen. Unlike other orgs, people were measured on intent, not results alone. Org was also high on diversity, and went out of its way to support women so they don't drop out post getting married, or post pregnancy....Read More

There were some shifts in strategies which could have been challenging for people who can't deal with ambiguity. But startups always have to be nimble.
