Why so many lies about entrepreneurship?

I've recently started to notice that a lot of the people in my college and friend circles who always talk about becoming entrepreneurs and investors often lie a lot. Why do young people exaggerate entrepreneurial success? It could be for popularity or a habitual urge to brag. Many young people claim to be entrepreneurs seeking investors, but their websites show no organic traffic, income, or sales models. 😶 No hate just trying to figure out the motive behind it all is and why so many people have a habit of doing it. 🧐

It is basic human nature. 90% of startups fail, but you will never hear a founder saying his startup failed (probably because while there are a lot of sick startups, there are no sick promoters). People don't say their investments in the stock market failed.

Because people who really understand business and want an honest company and do business intelligently keep things quiet and the people who’re the most insecure and desperate brag a lot to inflate their valuation I personally think those people are pathological liars.

The term "entrepreneur" can be romanticized. They might be attracted to the idea of being their own boss and the potential for high rewards, without fully understanding the hard work and challenges involved in building a successful business.

Maybe because they feel pressured to appear successful, and are influenced by social media's portrayal of achievement and status.
