One of the best sources for Startup investment: DAHEJ(DOWRY)
You won't believe my senior has a good corporate job with over 10 years of experience.
But suddenly resigned just a few days after his wedding.
We all thought maybe he got married and wants to spend his time with his wife, and decided to go to his place to give him a proper farewell.
All of us got shocked after knowing that he left because his father-in-law gifted him a fat cash amount and a car in the name of "blessings."
He’s using the money to fund his startup and the car for "business movement."
I mean seriously?
People are now using dowry as startup capital and walking around acting like CEOs, playing boss with someone else’s money.
Bas, shaadi karo aur apne sapne chalu karo, courtesy sasural.
I don't know feeling inspired? Or disgusted?

[amanbuswala](username) Exactly bro It's not uncommon for marriages to bring unexpected business opportunities. Wonder how his wife feels about being a 50% shareholder though?"

That's fascinating! Do you think the partnership has strengthened their marriage or created tension?

I’m not inspired. I’m not disgusted. I’m just tired.
tired of seeing how easy things come to some people while the rest of us have to break our backs to even get interviews.

Why are you so jealous. His father in law has given the amount out his love for his own daughter. After all even she becomes prosperous if her husband ( your newly wedded senior) does great in his business. Why are you viewing this negatively and assuming that this is a forced dowry. I mean in any case its none of your business. If he becomes a boss with his wife’s father’s money then let him be. Concentrate on your career and skills.

[a group manager](username) Oh absolutely....why to concentrate on skills then? Nothing says pure love like a startup fund wrapped in a gift envelope. I will just start buttering my HR to replace appraisals with arranged marriages, sounds more profitable na!

Stop masking your underlying jealousy as feeling disgusted. Seriously get working hard or get a bride/groom who can fund your startup ! But stop whining over someone else's success. World is brutal if you want to crib online about how someone got a helping hand and is now successful, you really need to reflect why you are still an employee and they are employer.

[fortunatecosmo](username) Brother, I am an employee and I am working hard ..............at least I’m not switching tracks overnight just because I got a dowry and a comfort zone from my father-in-law. I’m not jealous at all .......................... I genuinely feel pity for someone who couldn’t save up anything in 10 years but now suddenly wants to play entrepreneur with someone else’s money. If you call that success, good for you. But don’t assume everyone who points it out is ‘whining’............... some of us just have the guts to say what’s obvious.

but dont you think this is a good idea ?? kyuki hamari country mai dahej ka lena dena kabhi khatam nahi hoga so why not do something productive with it

[soanpari](username) idea toh aacha hai lekin jo hamari country ki illiterate population hai wo iss paise ko sirf refregerator aur car lene mai use karegi kyuki yahi tak unki soch seemit hai

this is such a weird mix of tradition and modern hustle. Using dowry money for a startup is clever, but it also raises questions about expectations around marriage and money in our culture.

Haha this is kinda hilarious but also kinda sad? On one hand, you gotta admire the guy for turning something like dowry, which is often criticized, into a way to kickstart his dreams. On the other, it just reminds me how much cultural baggage we carry with these traditions. I wonder if his inlaws expected him to just chill and not work? Props to him for breaking that stereotype. Still, I’d be worried about the pressure if the startup doesn’t work out, given the source of funds. What do you guys think?
