Offer Dilemma
Hello All,
Recently, I got a office from Nokia Banglore at 50% hike for PCRF L4 Engineer role and my current company wants me to retain for IMS & Cloud role in kolkata by giving 20% now and promotion expected on March plus 15% at that time (criteria for promotion is to clear some exam 1st)
Now, what could be the wise decision to make in this scenario? My current ctc is around 9.66 LPA, 5.5 YOE
Looking for advice. Thanks

Join Nokia. No second thought. Any promise is a waste as it's not happening. Go join Nokia.

Join Nokia without a 2nd thought. You will get brand name and exposure. Not many people get a chance to work for such brands so take it 🙂

are you more excited about the role itself, or is it just the pay that’s pushing you?

Hmm, tough decision...Have you had a chance to explore the work culture at both places, or are you mostly considering the salary boost?

When to switch
I recently graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I have secured a job as a Business Analyst at an eCommerce brand with a salary package of 4.5 LPA. Considering I graduated from a tier 3 college and got the job off-campus, is this a good package? What should I focus on next: skill development or switching skills? If I choose to skill up, how should I go about it? Should I join a course or pursue certifications? Additionally, I am curious abou...
