I unfortunately left my previous job after 4 months. I only want to show my first job (where I worked for 13 months) on my resume. Will this be a problem when I apply for new jobs?
Note: omitting my previous job from my resume would leave a 6 month career gap.

Don't stress too much about the 6-month gap. It happens to the best of us! Just be upfront about it in your cover letter or during the interview.

Employers often verify employment history. If they discover a discrepancy, it could negatively impact your credibility

If you’re comfortable, feel free to briefly explain why you left your previous role that way you will not feel stressed

Hiding a job gap can be a risky move. It's better to be upfront about it and provide a clear explanation. why did you leave your job so early ?
