a deputy manager

Just quit my job as a the Deputy Manager, to go on a month long road trip… Will I be okay?

Not really sure what I’m doing. I’m 30 and feel trapped in the environment. My friends just offered for me to come on a trip to international trip. I told my boss and he said I wont get another job soon once ill return i don’t think it’ll be hard to get a job when i get back i guess I m just trying to get some reassurance. Please suggest

Go for it if you need a break right now. Just keep an eye on your finances and use the time to figure out what you really want next in your career!

IMO, sometimes stepping back helps you see things more clearly.

You'll get a job that's for sure! I just don't understand your reasoning? You don't know what's happening in your life and you quit? Feeling trapped? That's 90% of everyone's life, taking a break for a month vs planning your life are two different aspects! I hope you planned your life in that month too. If you're still struggling talk to your friends, family and get advice from professionals! PS: You could have applied for a sabbatical or a leave with fake reasons, I don't understand why you had to be the rebel.
