Hi I hold experience of 2 years 10 months from WNS Global services where I was in a data operations support role under Data Engineering with 5.5LPA CTC. Now I'm interviewing with InnovAcer (noida) for the Data Ops Engineer - 1. Ambission box has 6-8LPA mentioned. they're good US healthcare startup how much hike should I ask assuming standard hike to be 30%.

You already have solid experience in data operations, and Innovaccer is a growing US healthcare startup...Given the market trend, an 8-10 LPA ask sounds reasonable. Have you checked what others in similar roles at Innovaccer are getting?

A 30% hike is a standard ask, but since you’re moving to a new company in a high-demand field, you could push for more. Have you had any salary discussions with the recruiter yet?

I’d say go for 8-10 LPA. If they negotiate lower, you’ll still land somewhere in a good range. What’s your highest offer so far in other interviews?

A friend with a similar role recently got a 90% hike when switching....If they really want you, they might stretch. How confident are you in your negotiation skills?

If AmbitionBox says 6-8 LPA, it means some are already earning 8L+. You should start at 9-10 LPA to have room for negotiation. What’s your expected counteroffer strategy?

@bugmaster I don't know their counter might be 6-8 I guess.

Considering Noida's cost of living and Innovaccer’s rapid growth, asking for 8-10 LPA seems fair. Have you researched their benefits and stock options as well?

Many startups pay well for good talent! Maybe check if they offer ESOPs or bonuses too. Would you take a slightly lower fixed if they offer strong perks?

Why limit yourself? Start high at 10+ LPA and let them negotiate down if needed. Are you prepared to justify your ask with data-driven impact from your past role?
