CA's jobs aren't limited to just taxation. Tax planning, audit & advisory make up for the majority of their expertise. What's your take on this?

I don't think CAs are in huge numbers in this forum. However, it's true, if the laws are understandable, then it would be pretty easy to automate

Classic example of engineers living in their own sweet bubble. "10x more social and financial values"? My dude, what are you backing this argument with? "Trust me, bro"?

Well.. he cannot even decode 1 sentence of income tax act on his own and talking about automating CA's work. Whatever app you choose, there was always a CA who helped in development of the same by telling you how this app should actually perform or work. There are AIs like google bard, chatgpt.. all they can do is summarize the concept, they cannot make you understand.. you have to use your brain.. As per NAASCOM survey, yearly 15 lakhs new engineers are introduced in Indian market but only 2.5 lakhs get employed in their core field... approx. 80% are either unemployed or under-employed. On the other hand, CAs have 0% of employement rate.
