QA/QC Manager- EPC/EPCM-Chemical & Fertilizer, Petro-Chemical/Oil Gas Industry

Location: Gurgaon Experience: 15-18 years Industry: Chemical / Fertilizer / Oil & Gas /Process Industry.

Our Client is seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Manager with 15-18 years of expertise in the chemical /fertilizer/Oil &Gas/Petrochemical industry.

The ideal candidate should possess ASNT Level II certification and have a strong background in quality assurance, quality control, inspection, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC processes as per ISO, ASTM, ASME, API, and other industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for chemical and fertilizer manufacturing.
• Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to quality management systems.
• Establish and oversee Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Quality Manuals. Quality Control & Inspection:
• Supervise raw material, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) and inspection methods as per ASNT Level II standards (UT, RT, MT, PT)
• Review and approve inspection test plans (ITPs), material test certificates (MTCs), and quality reports.
• Investigate quality deviations, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions. Process Improvement & Risk Management:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and SPC (Statistical Process Control) techniques.

Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelors / master’s degree in chemical engineering,

Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• 15-18 years of QA/QC experience in the chemical, fertilizer, or process industry.
• ASNT Level II Certification in UT, RT, PT, MT (additional certifications will be an advantage). • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, API, ASTM, ASME, and NDT procedures. •Hands-on experience with NDT techniques, failure analysis, and quality control tools. • Proficiency in root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, CAPA, and problem-solving methodologies. Preferred Certifications: • Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) (Preferred but not mandator
