Role & responsibilities

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the execution of business specific processes using the software development lifecycle and/or project management life cycle, developing and analyzing reports, and day to day administrative activities as needed. As the Systems Analyst, you will focus on improving efficiency and a lighting technology with business objectives.

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather business requirements, and interpret them into practical technical solutions
• Project Planning: Create project plans and ensure alignment with business objectives and time lines
• Business Analysis: Analyze business requirements to identify business solutions or areas for process improvement
• System Design: Design, document and execute on solutions that meet business requirements
• Collaboration and Communication: Regularly engage with stakeholders, business users and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of effective and aligned solutions
• System Deployment: Interact and coordinate with system developers and business subject matter experts on application changes, development, and deployment
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test plans and test cases to validate system functionality. Coordinate and conduct testing
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organizations desired culture and values

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Business or Information Technology
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience as a business systems analyst or in a similar role
• Strong analyst and problem solving skills
• Experience with project management and requirements tools and principles.
• Experience in Financial Services, Loan Servicing and/or Loan Origination a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills a must
• Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management.
