Job Description
As a Cybersecurity Specialist at WN Infotech, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's digital assets and information. You will design, implement, and monitor security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data from cyber attacks and unauthorized access. - Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's information assets.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security enhancements.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and investigate potential security breaches.
- Install, configure, and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and provide incident response support.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
- Strong understanding of network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
- Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
- Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, DLP, and endpoint security solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
